What does Risky mean?
Risky means: we reached the mail system, but we do not have mailbox-level proof it exists. The most common case is catch-all. Other Risky paths include some Microsoft 365 / gateway accepts that are not authoritative, mailbox-full, disposable domains, and toxic / possible spam-trap signals.
Risky is a result you can filter. It is not Valid with extra steps. NexiphorVerifier keeps it visible on the row and in exports.
What to do with Risky
For conservative outbound, export Valid only. If you accept more reach, use the safe catch-all preset and treat those rows as use-with-caution.
Four statuses: Valid vs Invalid vs Risky vs Unknown.
